So surprised that you're so concern bout my final year project, or maybe you just 8. Hahaha whatever! Thanks for everything. And thanks for being with me every Evaluation Day. Promised will work hard for my final year project and future, won't let my parents down, and so do you. You're my role model, and you're so awesome.

In love with social through photoshooting

Thanks to lecturer Jason Loh, I got a chance to attend a photo shooting event, a big one, which is Miss & Mister Malaysia Campus 2012 Grand Finale. It was my first event shooting and I was hyper nervous. For a starter, I can say that the photos were not bad in a no external flash condition. Although lot's of blur photos, I tried to save them through Photoshop. Here's the album for that night =D

The next event is coming in a month time. This time, even bigger! It is Mister International 2012! I am so fortunate to get the back stage pass as a photographer! Well, I still don't call myself as photographer. At least, I don't think I'm one yet. Just an amateur camera learning newbie.Since it will be held in a club(Paparazi Club), I'm planning to get an external flash. But a Canon flash cost at least RM800+. Oh boy! How am I suppose to get much money for it? Plus, I didnt get pay for shooting the event, just my chance for learning. *Headache*

Anyway, back to the topic about social =D
From the Miss & Mister Malaysia Campus 2012 Grand Finale, I meet so many new people. Among them are Isaiah, Uriel and Will. They were so friendly and they remember me as most of the photographers there are man, only two girls were shooting there. I had fun knowing them and talk with them. Ever since I talked to them I became addicted in knowing new people and wanted to talk to them. Too bad they're busy people, can't really keep talking to them. That's a sigh =/

Fix for Maya 2012 Error: setParent: Object 'vrMayaVectorFillStyleLayout' not found.

Solving // Error: setParent: Object 'vrMayaVectorFillStyleLayout' not found.

I was preparing to render wireframe for my modeling when suddenly a problem occurred, which is unable to batch render using maya vector. Then my classmate suggested to reset the maya preference and it didn't work. Worst part is after reset I can't even render at all with maya vector.

So I went to my lecturer and he taught me a way to render the wireframe without using maya.

Make sure you harden edge your model and set all the settings you want include size, frame number and camera. After that, save it.

Right click your scene file and you can see (open) , (open with...) , (render), ...
just click the (Render) and a panel will pop out and all your model wireframe will render and saved in the project folder you set.

My very first flash project

The Bugs - Live To Party ( Jonas Brothers )

Well I was phobia about flash at first, because I remember Flash was too hard and too stressed for me when I first try it 3 years ago. Till this sem I have to attend to Multimedia class, which was learning Flash from this class. Unexpectedly, it seems easier than I remember it. I guess it is due to me more understand and getting used to Adobe software ever since I studied at Dasein.

I was excited when lecturer brief us the final project. I have chosen to do a Flash MV and I can't believe I made it!!! Gosh I'm so excited! XDD I enjoyed this project so much and eventually I finished 4 weeks before deadline. Therefore I have more time to solve the delay and lag problem due to too much filters and blending mode and also export from swf file into png file and put into video. =D

I was very nervous during presenting this video. Gladly, I got good comments from the lecturer. I am so happy and satisfied with this project. \(^~^)/ Hope people who watch it will like it and enjoy as much as I do.

Invention, Innovation, Novelty and Futuristic

Invention is discovery, a product of the imagination, something created by thought.

Innovation is the introduction of something new like new idea, new method or new device:novelty. Innovation is also about exploiting new ideas leading to thr creation of a new product, process or service.

Novelty is occurrence or new thing, newness.

Futuristic is ultra modern.

Difference between Innovation and Novelty
Innovation is always expressed by better technological solution accepted by society whereas novelty is just a consequence of innovations' practical implementation.

Difference between Innovation and Invention
Innovation differes from invention as innovation result in novel idea or method whereas invention refers more directly to the creation of the idea or method itself.

If the invention improves some product, process or service for the public, then the invention transforms into an innovation. Otherwise, an invention is useful only to the inventor unless it is offered to the public, but niche that public maybe.

The type, industry and style of innovation are irrelevant, an innovation's impact determines its qualification. Therefore, it does not matter that an innovation is big or small, brand new or just a bit different. It can be clearly complex or seemingly simple. Besides, innovations are often thought of in terms of technical achievement, but can also be a design.

KL International Music & Lights Festival

While me, Jason, GianHwa and BeanBin where testing shots at KLCC, we saw a stage were set up. After test shots, we went watching Snow White and the Huntsmen. Well the movie was quite nice until the ending part. I was expecting for more and the music playing suddenly off pitch =.= killed mood 99.

Anyway, back to the KL International Music and Lights Festival 2012. It will lauch officially from 4th June till 9 June. This live teaser at KLCC tempted me so much. Planning to go on 9th June 2012.

Also, had some fun shooting photos there. It felt like we're in concert XD

Mental Ray

I wish I had more time to watch more tutorials on Digital-Tutors because I only had one month subscription and the monthly subscriptions are very costly. But at the same time, I had a lot of assignments to deal with. So afraid i will waste the subscription. I must watch as much as possible before it expired. =(

Juxtaposition

A Juxtaposition practice in class.
So here's what I got, tree x hand phone.

"Wish You Were Here, Alice."

In the Wonderland of Alice in Wonderland, there is a teleportal tree that Alice didn't discover in her journey. Hence, nobody knows about the existence of the tree. After few decades, the area was demolished, left the teleportal tree and a family built a house with the tree in their yard. The tree was modified into a music player. Since then the tree started turning greyish blue and brownish yellow leaves.

A teenage boy, Bernard, walked to his backyard and sit under a tree as usual. He put his hand phone on the tree port and played his all time favorite old song - Wish You Were Here - Avril Lavigne. He then leaned on the tree trunk reading his favorite book. Reading the book was almost his daily routine. He always smiled while reading the book and ended a disappointed look after reading it.
 

Few months ago, Bernard's mom just bought him a story book from an antique store. He was so excited. He went to his backyard and read the book under a tree. After reading the first few pages, he was bored of the story and fell asleep. The book slipped off his hand and his head sliding down to the left side. The slid accidentally triggered a secret activator on the tree and Bernard was teleported into Wonderland. The teleport caused a slight electrical shock through the headphones to Bernard and he was woken.

He was confused and wondering where were he, scratching his head while standing up. "Mom! Where are you?" shouted Bernard. Tall trees surrounded him and they were different from the tree in his yard. The trees were actually brown with green leaves at the top. Soft wind blowing towards his face and warm sunlight shone through the leaves. "This place is wonderfully beautiful!" he whispered.

Curiosity drove him walked further and further from the tree. He was so attracted and wanted to see more of this beautiful land. He walked out the forest and reached a garden with beautiful flowers like Morning Glory, Lavender, Sunflowers and many more. Suddenly he heard a girl's voice shouting," Oh Mr. Rabbit! Wait for me!" 

He saw a blonde pretty teenage girl with a blue dress. Yes, she was Alice, of  Wonderland. Her beautiful blue eyes and red cheeks has attracted Bernard. However, Bernard had no idea who she was as he didn't finish the story. He ran forward and introduced himself as Alice was looking for Mr. Rabbit.

Somehow Bernard's smile had too attracted Alice. They talked about their life and mostly everything as they found each other's life were so much different and so interesting. The chit-chat made Alice forgot about finding the rabbit and had so much fun spending time with Bernard.

They watched the sunset together on a cliff and they had a great time. Alice was leaning on Bernard's shoulder and they were enjoying the moment. 

Suddenly, a strong force pulled Alice and Bernard apart. Bernard was waken once again. But this time, Bernard was back to his backyard, so did Alice, back to her sister.

Bernard time traveled and the history was changed. The cover of the book on the ground were changed to How Bernard meet Alice in Wonderland.

They both missed each other a lot ever since then. However they had no idea how to meet each other again. All Bernard can do is read the book over and over again and keeps those sweet memories in his heart.

"Wish you were here, Alice." Bernard sighed.

First post - Reason to Blog

Oh yeah! I've just created a blog! How excited?!  
(NO, NOT. AT. ALL. =.=)



(Honestly...)
The reason I create a blog...hmmm...can I say that it's because lecturer required us to do so?
I asked few classmates in my class and they just like me, we all don't really like to blog.

But after I read the blog posted by my classmates, most of them made me ROFL!!!
They SEEM SO FORCED to write a blog!!! HAHAHHAHAHAHA!
Any way, we have to write it for our own good =(

I'm expecting lecturer's reaction next week when he read what they post! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
